Tri-Cities Geotechnical is a small business located in Kennewick, Washington specializing in geotechnical engineering within the Columbia Basin, northeast Oregon, western Idaho and beyond. We have a broad client base from developers, contractors, engineers, architects, homeowners, and municipalities. Tri-Cities Geotechnical is owned and operated by Ben Staehr, PE. Ben has over a decade of geotechnical experience in the Columbia Basin, Yakima, Central and Eastern Oregon, western and northern Idaho, Wenatchee, and most everywhere else east of the Cascades. He has worked for various small geotechnical consulting firms over the years and has taken the knowledge and experience gained in the industry to create one of the top geotechnical firms in the Tri-Cities area.

Ben is a graduate of Washington State University (Go Cougs!) and you’ll often find him at WSU football games in Pullman. He also enjoys golfing, camping and driving his Jeep around in the mountains.
